Oakwood Community Center is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and all donations made to it are tax-deductible.
Oakwood’s efforts continues to grow, but we can only keep doing it if you stay with us on this mission. We need your contributions to bring guest artists like Jordan Taylor Hill and Latisia Johnson to work with our youth, to make staff time available to provide organizational support to help community members pilot their innovative ideas, to provide food and coordinate volunteers-the lifeline of our Food Pantry and Free Store. Your donations also help us continue to stabilize and update our building so the physical structure matches the warmth and vibrance of our programs.
You make it possible for us to provide a home for the Saturday Food Pantry and Free Store, the Oakwood Techniques performing arts programming for local students, and space for our community: through fiscal sponsorships, low-cost rentals, or collaborations.
